My Week has come to an End

And in doing so, I pack up my thoughts and return to my own blog. I wondered what I should say in my last posting and really, I thought the only thing I can do is leave this small duty on a positive note.

What are you working on at the moment? Whatever it is, it’s called a Work in Progress. WIP. That’s what it should be. Progress with it. Work at it.

The difference between a novelist and a writer is just that. A writer writes. A novelist is a story teller. And a story teller who has a drive to reach the end of the tale.

There will be days when you wake up and not feel like writing. There will be many days when you will be filled with self doubts.

There will be others when you feel totally inspired.

Never be a wannabee. There are too many around.

Always. And then it will be a case of self-fulfilling prophesy.

Whatever your goal is – keep at it. Don’t waste your talents on things that don’t matter. Don’t waste them on anything other than the final goal.

Just be the best your ambition can bring you.
