...my week has come to an end (I can hear the cheering all the way down here in South Florida). Rather than ramble or muse, I'll leave with a simple poll and hopefully some of our audience will chime in.

On e-books:
Have you purchased one and would purchase one again? (based on convenience and price - not the story)
With the popularity of e-books rising, would you consider purchasing one this year?
Or, do you prefer the book in-hand and aren't partial to e-books?

Have a GREAT weekend everyone!
Love,
Sydney

Funny - I have an e-book out, but I prefer the paper kind. I spend enough time staring at computer screens and can't afford a 'reader'. Still the old-fashioned gal, I suppose.

I've done both: paper and ebook. I also do books on CD. Basically, if it gets me a chance to become involved in a new story, I'm there. What can I say? I'm a bookslut.

If cost and storage space are paramount factors, choose ebooks. On the other hand, comfort and packability both favor paper books. But ebooks have one advantage no paper book can ever beat--adjustable font size. I've reached the age where I prefer hardbacks over paperbacks simply because the type is larger.

Hmm...lost part of that comment.

I'm a glutton. If I can get one book or four books, I tend to get the four books. My shelves are, accordingly, packed and double-stacked. A whole library of ebooks doesn't take any space at all, so I don't have to make those painful shelf-clearing decisions.

For older works, you can spend the price of a half-price hardback to buy an entire library of ebooks here: http://samizdat.stores.yahoo.net
Samizdat collects and formats entire libraries on CD. He also does custom collections. I have lost many a weekend in one of these elibraries.
